Single component, water-based intumescent acrylic firestop sealant is for passive fire protection in fire-rated applications. It cures to form a firm yet flexible seal to join a variety of materials and applications. When exposed to heat, it chars and expands, preventing the spread of heat, smoke, and fire through a joint.
